OUR MISSION

A tribute to the spirit and values of legendary University of Southern California Baseball Coach Rod Dedeaux, the Rod Dedeaux Foundation (RDF) strives to carry out his legacy by funding scholarships, programs, and services for youth in underserved areas of Los Angeles, using Baseball as a platform to cultivate success beyond the final out.

SCHOLARSHIPS

RDF is proud to partner with our friends at Kennedy Williams to award a $7,500 college scholarship to one male baseball player and one female softball player from the Compton Youth Academy.

Youth Clinic

Youth from the inner cities of Los Angeles, along with former MLB stars and current college players, come together annually for the RDF Youth Clinic — featuring valuable instruction and motivational mentorship.

LEGENDS
ON THE LINKS

Legends on the Links, benefiting Rod Dedeaux Foundation, is a charity fundraiser golf tournament featuring current and former MLB Players and Coaches, as well as a number of other Sports and Entertainment Celebrities.

GOLDEN SPIKES AWARD

The Golden Spikes Award is presented annually to the top amateur baseball player in the U.S. The award is given to the player who best exhibits exceptional on-field ability and exemplary sportsmanship.
